Falcon Aviation Academy "Pro Book"
The Falcon Aviation Academy ProBook was designed to provide its students with self-paced educational and training activities that must be completed prior to the various stages of flight training, such as Pre-Solo, Cross-Country and Pre-Checkride. Many of the activities are online courses or quizzes provided by AOPA, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association or ASF, the Air Safety Foundation and Sporty's Pilot Shop. The focus of the activities is to encourage practical and independent training in Aircraft Systems, Pre-Flight Planning and Situational Awareness with respect to Weather Conditions, Terrain and Airspace. Step One:
NOTE: You must sign up for an AOPA Membership to access some of the activities. As a student you may receive a 6-month complementary member here. Falcon Aviation Academy Students should complete the activities that are listed on each of the following pages prior to the stage of flight described on that page. Certificates from AOPA or ASF should be printed and placed in a three ring binder behind each completion sheet. In the case of the ASF Safety Quizzes, the student should generate a printout indicating that they have answered all questions on the quiz with a score of 100%. After printing the above, students may reference the Falcon Aviation ProBook Activity Webpage for the preferred sequence of activities at: http://www.falconaviationacademy.com/sc/probook2.asp When each activity is complete and the certificate has been placed into the book, the student may sign the facing page indicating that the task has been complete. When all pre-stage tasks are complete, the student should review his or her ProBook with an instructor and receive the appropriate signoff's on the facing page.
